U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Martha Craig Daughtry began the swearing in ceremony by putting her stamp of approval on the swearing in of Supreme Court Justice Sharon G. Lee who brings to three the number of women justices on the state Supreme Court. Women are now a majority on the Tennessee Supreme Court.
